Nearly 60 years of upgrades later, and it was determined to be time for a fresh palette.

     

So, out it came!

 

Starting the structural fitment of the new panel.



Then it was laminated.



Once the metal parts were installed, then came wiring, radio racks, and instruments.

 

We were having issues getting the cluster gauges to work (they had come out of another aircraft, used), so that plan was scrapped in favor of new Mitchell gauges.



It is always nice to turn things on and have them work!
